All that is gold does not glitter, Not all who wander are lost. The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.

This memorial website was created to remember Edward Anthony Cross who was born in United Kingdom Barrow-in-Furness on January 11, 1961 and passed away on April 16, 2007. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Another memory I have is when I was cutting your hair at our house.  You were a teenager and very proud of your wavy locks so I still don't understand why you trusted me to cut it :-) Anyway, I was half way through cutting when Mark Pullin knocked on the door and told me Andy had been knocked off his bike by a car!

I was obviously really worried and ran from the house to go to him.  I never gave another thought to the fact you that you had one side short hair and one long!

When we came back home you were really unhappy that you hadn't been able to come with me to see what had happened because you looked so funny :-D Thankfully Andy was fine and we were able to laugh about the hair incident later.

I have lots more memories Eddie and will share them as time goes by.

Love you always Teddy Bear,

I remember clearly when you were born Eddie.  I was only 13 years old but felt so protective of you and I became "little mammy" :-) I took you everywhere and showed you off to my friends.

When you started talking, you couldn't say my name properly and when you waited for me coming out of school you would shout out "Susa, my Susa's coming!"

I remember once going into the garden to bring you in for tea.  I had no shoes on and as I carried you back to the house I stood on a bee.  It stung me of course and I had to hop the rest of the way.  You laughed so hard as you were jiggled up and down.  You never lost that great laugh did you.  I bet you have them laughing in heaven!

I loved you so much Eddie and still do.  I miss you little Bro'

We'll have more memories together soon.

Nite Nite, God bless darlin'
